It is a carbon source for heterotrophic bacteria. These carbohydrates could also potentially bind iron and act as an iron binding ligand. This data is used to explore the nature of iron ligands and relate to biological and chemical oceanography.\n\ncdm_data_type = Other\nVARIABLES:\ncruise\nstation_number\nevent_number\nTMR_cast\ntime (seconds since 1970-01-01T00:00:00Z)\nlatitude (degrees_north)\nlongitude (degrees_east)\ndepth (m)\nhydrolysable_carbohydrate_concentration (µmol/L)\n | https://erddap.emodnet-physics.eu/erddap/metadata/fgdc/xml/SPI_10_5281_zenodo_2635685_fgdc.xml | https://erddap.emodnet-physics.eu/erddap/metadata/iso19115/xml/SPI_10_5281_zenodo_2635685_iso19115.xml | https://erddap.emodnet-physics.eu/erddap/info/SPI_10_5281_zenodo_2635685/index.htmlTable | https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.3967034 | http://erddap.emodnet-physics.eu/erddap/rss/SPI_10_5281_zenodo_2635685.rss | https://erddap.emodnet-physics.eu/erddap/subscriptions/add.html?datasetID=SPI_10_5281_zenodo_2635685&showErrors=false&email= | University of Geneva, Switzerland | SPI_10_5281_zenodo_2635685 |
